Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
TITN ("TITN", "we", "us", or "our") builds a bodybuilding and nutrition app for iPhone and Apple Watch. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you have over your data — including how to delete your account and everything tied to it.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored as salted hashes by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password in plain text.
Profile and goals
During onboarding and in your profile you may provide: display name, profile photo, sex, age, height, current and goal body weight, training goal (cut, recomp, bulk, and so on), experience level, training days per week, activity level, and your notification and privacy preferences.
Training, nutrition, and progress data
- Workout sessions, logged sets, exercises, and the programs assigned to you
- Cardio sessions, including duration, calories, and heart-rate metrics
- Meal logs, food entries, saved meals, and your daily calorie and macro targets
- Body-weight entries and trends
- Progress photos you choose to capture (stored privately; see Storage below)
Health data (Apple Health / HealthKit)
If you enable it, TITN reads and writes data through Apple Health — for example body weight, heart rate, and active energy — so your numbers stay in sync. Health data is used only to provide app features. We never use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing, and we never sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Subscriptions
TITN Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. We do receive a subscription/entitlement status and an anonymized subscriber identifier from our subscription provider so we can unlock Pro features for your account.
Connected services you opt into
If you connect an Oura Ring, we store the access tokens needed to sync and the readiness, sleep, and activity data you authorize. You can disconnect Oura at any time, which removes those tokens.
Diagnostics
Like most apps, we may collect basic technical information (such as device type, app version, and error logs) to keep the app stable. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
How we use your information
- To run the core app — assign programs, track workouts, and calculate nutrition targets
- To power the AI Nutrition Coach, which reviews your recent intake and weight trend and proposes target adjustments that you approve
- To sync your data across your devices and with Apple Health
- To send notifications you've enabled (such as weekly check-ins)
- To provide support and keep the service secure and working
How the AI Nutrition Coach uses your data
TITN includes an AI coaching feature. To generate suggestions and, where you use it, analyze a progress photo for a body-composition estimate, relevant data (such as recent nutrition figures, weight trend, or the specific photo you submit) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, for processing. This data is used only to produce your result and is not used to train third-party models. AI estimates are informational and are not medical advice.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers that operate TITN, and only as needed to run the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and secure file storage
- Vercel — hosting for our backend services
- Apple — App Store, in-app purchases, push notifications, and Apple Health
- RevenueCat — subscription and entitlement management
- Anthropic — AI processing for the Nutrition Coach (see above)
- Oura — only if you connect your Oura account
- Food data providers (USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret, and Open Food Facts) — your food search terms are sent to look up nutrition information
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and service.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in our database and secure file storage provided by Supabase. Progress photos and profile photos are kept in private storage buckets that are accessible only to your authenticated account, not to the public.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, training, nutrition, body-metric, coaching, and progress-photo data are permanently removed from our systems (see below). Some records may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten on our providers' normal cycles.
Your rights and choices
- Access and correction — you can view and edit your profile and data in the app at any time
- Health permissions — you control Apple Health access in iOS Settings
- Notifications — you can turn notifications on or off in the app
- Account deletion — you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at titn account deletion
Deleting your account and data
You can fully and permanently delete your TITN account — and all of the information saved to our database, including progress photos — from our account deletion page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Note that an App Store subscription is managed by Apple; if you have an active TITN Pro subscription, cancel it separately in your iPhone's Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions to stop future billing.
Children's privacy
TITN is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate.
